Expert Air Conditioning & Cooling Solutions

Inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing for residential and commercial cooling systems — carried out by trained technicians with proper instruments and safe working practice.

Service Overview

Cooling systems fail quietly long before they fail loudly.

Velion provides air conditioning services covering split, ducted and packaged systems serving residential, commercial and industrial properties across Dubai. In this climate, cooling is not a comfort item — it is a building system that has to be maintained deliberately.

Our technicians begin with measurement rather than assumption. Airflow, refrigerant-side condition, condensate drainage, electrical supply, control settings and physical condition of indoor and outdoor units are all checked before any component is changed. That is how we avoid replacing parts that were never the problem.

We also look at the installation itself — support, clearance, insulation, pipework protection and drainage falls. Many recurring cooling complaints in Dubai buildings are installation or maintenance issues rather than equipment faults.

Scope of Works

What our air conditioning division covers.

01

AC Inspection

Systematic assessment of indoor and outdoor units, airflow, drainage, electrical supply and controls.

02

AC Maintenance

Scheduled cleaning, filter and coil attention, drainage checks and tightening of electrical connections.

03

AC Troubleshooting

Fault diagnosis by measurement and test, isolating the actual cause before any part is replaced.

04

AC Repair

Component repair and replacement carried out to manufacturer guidance, with the system re-tested after works.

05

AC Servicing

Full service visits covering cleaning, checks, adjustments and a written record of condition and actions.

06

Preventive AC Maintenance

Programmed servicing at intervals suited to usage, exposure and load, catching deterioration before failure.

07

Cooling Performance Optimisation

Airflow balancing, control setting review and identification of restrictions that waste energy and comfort.

08

Residential & Commercial AC Support

Villa, apartment, office, retail and industrial cooling systems, each with its own programme and access needs.

Maintenance Process

How an AC service visit is structured.

01

Report & History

Symptoms, usage pattern and any previous works reviewed before attending site.

02

Instrumented Inspection

Airflow, temperatures, electrical readings, drainage and physical condition recorded.

03

Diagnosis

Cause identified and explained, including whether the issue is equipment, installation or maintenance related.

04

Agreed Remedy

Proposed works, parts and cost confirmed with the client before anything is carried out.

05

Service & Test

Cleaning, adjustments or repairs completed, then the system re-tested under load.

06

Report & Schedule

Condition, actions taken and recommended next service interval documented.

Common AC Issues

The cooling complaints we are asked to investigate most.

Most recurring cooling problems share a small number of root causes. Understanding them usually saves the client from paying twice for the same fault.

  • Restricted airflowClogged filters, blocked coils or obstructed return paths reduce capacity and raise running cost.
  • Blocked condensate drainageSloped or blocked drains cause water ingress, alarms and unnecessary shutdowns.
  • Dirty condenser coilsOutdoor units exposed to dust and salt lose heat rejection efficiency and overheat.
  • Refrigerant-side faultsLeaks must be located and repaired — simply topping up charge guarantees a repeat call.
  • Electrical supply problemsLoose terminations, undersized protection or unstable supply cause nuisance tripping.
  • Poor installation detailInadequate clearance, uninsulated pipework or bad support leads to premature failure.
Please note. Diagnosis of refrigerant circuits must be carried out by appropriately qualified technicians using proper instruments. Velion does not endorse topping up refrigerant charge without first locating and repairing the leak.

Cooling systems in the conditions they actually face.

Heat, dust and salt air are relentless on outdoor equipment. Maintenance intervals should reflect that reality.

AC Services FAQ

Questions about our air conditioning division.

Service intervals depend on usage, exposure and equipment type. Units serving dusty, coastal or heavily loaded environments generally need more frequent attention than lightly used residential systems. We recommend an interval based on what we find during the inspection rather than applying a single universal figure.
Check that filters are clean, the indoor return is unobstructed, the outdoor unit has clear airflow around it and the condensate drain is not blocked. If the system still underperforms after those basics, it needs an instrumented inspection — reduced capacity is frequently caused by restricted airflow, a dirty condenser or a refrigerant-side fault rather than a failed compressor.
Yes. We service split and ducted systems in villas and apartments, and larger packaged or ducted installations in offices, retail and industrial premises. Commercial works are programmed around trading hours and tenant access requirements.
Yes. Scheduled AC maintenance is one of the core components of our Annual Maintenance Contracts, and can be combined with building, electrical and general maintenance under a single agreement. See our AMC Services page for the available arrangements.
Yes. If the honest answer is that a unit is beyond economical repair, or that the real problem lies elsewhere in the installation, we will say so. We would rather give an accurate assessment than sell a replacement that does not solve the issue.
